Routine physicals

During this exam, she reviews your medical history, asks about your current health concerns, and does a full physical exam, lab testing, and health screenings.

Health screenings and testing may include:

The Medicare annual wellness visit is a health check that focuses on creating or updating your personalized preventive plan. During this visit, Mrs. Reilly checks your height, weight, and blood pressure, have you complete a health risk assessment, and reviews your prescriptions.

She then provides health advice, including a discussion of your health risk factors and the steps you can take to improve your health and reduce your risk of disease. Health screenings, lab tests, and other exams aren’t part of the Medicare annual wellness visit.
